Foundation Course on IATF 16949 including ISO 9001

Provides an introduction to IATF 16949 which is the reference for implementation of an Automotive Quality Management System.

This course is designed to introduce the new IATF 16949 which is currently the reference for the implementation of an Automotive Quality Management System. 

Course Highlights: 

After this course you should be able to:

  • Describe the development of quality standards over the time 
  • Define automotive 
  • List the characteristics and explain the structure of IATF 16949 
  • Work according to Demming’s circle 
  • Name the requirement and reference manuals for IATF 16949 
  • Explain the main content of the chapters 4-10 in the standard 
  • Document and control documentation according to the requirements  in IATF 16949 
  • Identify risks and opportunities 
  • Apply the process approach 
  • Use the turtle diagram 
  • List the requirements for audits according to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 
  • Use the standard as a tool to improve quality in development, planning, purchase and production

Who Should Attend: 

This course has no pre-requisites and is highly recommended all persons working with quality performance in the automotive industry..

Class Hours: 
In Class: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. | LiveOnline: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST. Classes are delivered in 90 minute segments with 30 minute breaks in between with up to four (4) sessions per day.
