The acquisition strengthens DNV’s assessment, certification and training offer on information security management in the Netherlands.
Barendrecht, the Netherlands, 3 October 2022 – DNV, a global leader in management system certification, is pleased to announce that it has acquired Auvaro, a privately owned assurance company primarily providing information security assurance statements and management system audits.
The compatible portfolios of services, competence and market presence constitute a strong foundation to serve a growing market and be a trusted partner for small and large companies.

The acquisition of Auvaro expands DNV’s resources, competence and offer to include third party assessments such as ISAE 3000, ISAE 3402 and SOC2, including DigiD and VIPP5-assessments. This combines with certification to information security and privacy standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 and related training already part of the portfolio.
