We carry out an independent evaluation of the submitted operational data. Possible implausibilities are addressed and clarified. After verification, an EEOI certificate is issued which is valid for one year.

From the ship’s fuel consumption, transported cargo and distance travelled, the EEOI value is determined according to the IMO’s MEPC.1/Circ.684 for a defined period, usually one year.
