Mr. Sawhill serves as a link between DNV GL and the US Government and Congress, representing the interests of all DNV business areas. Currently engaged in providing advisory services to industry, government and others on - IMO Polar Code compliance - Ship and offshore winterization - Arctic and Antarctic regulations - Arctic operations risk assessment - Polar safety, environmental stewardship and best practice for Arctic offshore activity - Qualification of technology for cold climate operations.

Mr. Andersen is a Business Development Director for DNV Region Americas Maritime. In this role, he is focusing on alternative fuels, environmental compliance, energy efficiency, and novel technologies in shipping. He is a member of the SNAME M-16 Panel on Propulsion Shafting and is on the North America Environmental Protection Association (NAMEPA) Board of Directors.
