The technical courses and seminars Technology Week is known for cover the latest innovations, technical developments, and regulatory changes  influencing the future of both the Maritime and Oil & Gas industries. Participation in this three-day event provides a unique opportunity to engage with technical experts who will be sharing their in-depth knowledge and experience, as well as the ability to expand your professional network.


The energy economy is in a state of constant evolution as decarbonization demands increase. While this transformation poses risks, the opportunities are greater if we choose to adapt with urgency and a full understanding of the interdependencies of technologies. Save Costs by Using a 3D CAD Model When Making Structural Analysis Models

This session focuses on how a 3D CAD model can be converted (and the steps of doing so) to a shell finite element model for use in hydrodynamic and structural analysis of floaters. You will learn that the conversion is down from weeks to hours. The conversion of 3D CAD models is based on MSC Apex while the hydrodynamics and structural analysis is based on Sesam from DNV.
