ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management systems, is undergoing a revision process that will result in the publication of ISO 14001:2026, scheduled for April 2026. Although the changes are considered limited compared to the 2015 revision, they bring important adjustments for greater clarity, alignment with the ISO Harmonized Structure, and strengthening of relevant environmental topics such as climate change, life cycle, and risk and opportunity management.
