DNV offers drone assisted close-up surveys to assess the structure and coating inside ballast tanks, cargo holds, Jackup legs, or similar. The Houston based drone team can be deployed on short notice anywhere within the Americas. The technology used is a specially designed high definition camera-equipped drone to remotely assess structural components and verify the condition. By using the video stream, transmitted by the drone to a tablet, the surveyor can now remotely review the condition of a structure as effectively.Tested on difference vessel types:
