Nathalie Sykora, Vice-President, Global Fleet Management at CSL Group has accepted the position to lead the DNV GL Maritime North American Committee at annual gathering in Greenwich, Connecticut.

With her focus on reliability and innovation throughout her career, Nathalie brings tremendous knowledge and energy to the work of this important industry committee, and we welcome her leadership,” commented Knut Orbeck-Nielsen, President and CEO of DNV GL Maritime. Nathalie Sykora joined CSL in 1998 as Project Engineering Assistant on the Forebodies Project team and has held roles of increasing responsibility in engineering, corporate planning, and operations throughout her tenure. She was appointed Vice-President, Global Technical Services in 2014 and Vice-President, Technical Operations and Environment for the Canada Steamship Lines fleet in 2016. In January 2017, Sykora took on her current role leading technical operations on CSL's global fleet, where she leads efforts to increase safety, reliability and promote innovation, in addition to managing the company’s long term asset planning. Nathalie received her Bachelor’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, a masters certificate in project management and completed several executive management courses achieving alumni status of Harvard Business School in Boston, MA in 2017.
