ECLS certification requirements are aligned with our NIAHO® hospital accreditation program and with the ISO 9001 quality management system.

The ECLS program survey process audits an organization’s ECLS program in the following areas:

ECLS certification survey components
- ECLS programs are certified for a three-year period subject to an annual survey to verify continuing compliance with ECLS certification requirements
- Annual survey schedule
- ECLS survey agenda and document request list are provided in advance to assist the organization with survey planning
